My name is Jake Cummings and I’m a sophomore at the University of New Mexico. I’m currently majoring in Civil Engineering but plan to switch into Criminology and go into Law School after graduation. I am a hobbyist photographer and enjoy spending time in nature and traveling.
I love to learn, but I need to feel a sense of purpose about the topic I’m learning about to feel properly engaged. My own lack of motivation towards certain topics is why I’ve sought a major change drifting away from engineering as a whole.
